After last weeks incident of losing my notes I've gone back to hand written notes. Hand written is better and we can leave it at that. 

Scott McCloud's transition devices:
1) moment to moment 
small lapse in time, little closure needed

2) action to action
different action but same scene, some closure needed

3) subject to subject
different subjects but same scene/idea, needs more reader involvement to work

4) scene to scene
geographic location with significant move of time and/or space, deductive reasoning needed

5) aspect to aspect
scene setting change but no shift in time, shows different aspects of the same scene

6) non-sequitur
no logical relationship between the panels
