Illustration in Response to Written Word: Literal Illustration
I decided to do a lino cut for this project and I think that was both a blessing and a curse. A lot went wrong with it and I had a lot of struggles to get to this final image but I do like the way it turned out and I think the look of the lino cut is ultimately effective. Because I didn't get one good print, I had to combine the best bits of many in photoshop which was a challenge to make look good but I just about managed it without binning all the prints and my laptop. This was potentially my least favourite project of the semester but I am still pleased with the outcome despite the struggles I had to get there.
