This week is about understanding the shape of the human head using Tony's trusted "motorcycle helmet" technique. The two drawings below of Elliot were done in about five minutes each on a collaborate call and were also the first drawings of this body of work.

Below are six head drawings, the longest took me around twenty minutes but they are all still relatively quick drawings using the motorcycle helmet shape as a foundation and using the construction lines on the face to place the eyes, nose and mouth.

Ink and Wash

For my ink and wash drawing I decided to do my corridor because I felt like there was plenty of tones and walls to get right in perspective. In hindsight my corridor is *a bit* boring but it was nice to use the washes of diluted ink to get the many tones right. (the door was closed when I did this piece).
